Well, I suppose it had to happen eventually.
Yesterday morning I was laying down, playing with Caitlin, and she fell over while I was holding her hands. Unfortunately, that meant a dislocated left elbow. Apparently it's not uncommon for babies and there is a term for it: "Nursemaid's Elbow.". That doesn't make it any less depressing to see your 7 month old playing with her right arm while her left arm lays limp at her side.
Long story short, the doctor massaged her elbow back into place and, with a little bit of Motrin, she's back to using her left arm again. Of course she charmed everyone at the hospital. Everyone wanted to peek their head in to see the cute little baby with the boo boo. Also not surprising: Caitlin handled the pain like a champ. She screamed like a banshee when it first happened, but she was incredibly well behaved at the hospital, hardly crying at all.
